The project for a grade in "Garment Construction" class at Neuqua Valley High School, her sophomore year...
The patter and fabric were of her own choosing. The belt accessory was her choice as well. Lovely!
Drum roll please...
Sleeve, complete with cuff AND buttonhole
Collar and placket, complete with buttons and buttonholes, eight in all.
Look at that top stitching.

Beautiful composition and construction of the garment.
She made an A+/100 on the project.
This is one very proud Nana.
(I was there in July, 2012 when she sewed her very first buttonhole. I will always treasure that moment. (See buttonhole below.)
