SOMETIMES LAUGHTER MAKES YOU FORGET ABOUT THE RAIN
Here is the funny song I told you about in our journal (SEE April 23, 2013). I was driving to Aunt Jeannine's for Georgia's graduation from puppy school and it was raining cats and dogs (no pun intended :-) I turned on the radio and started flipping stations, when I heard laughter on one of the programs. It made me curious, so I listened in. What I heard was the following comedy routine by Andy Offut Irwin. It was so engaging and funny that it made me forget about the rain AND the stalled traffic. Sometimes laughter makes us forget our troubles, even if only for a short while. I hope you get as big a kick out of it as I did.

The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
