JOAN BAUER: AN AUTHOR EXPLAINED

You did a MARVELOUS job on this project! I really enjoyed reading about JOAN BAUER. Her life is exceptional. Most of all, I like what she said:

"The theme that I try to carry into all of my writing is this: ADVERSITY, IF WE LET IT, WILL MAKE US STRONGER." (JOAN BAUER)

I believe that is true! As the Bible says:

"There's more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we're never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can't round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!" (ROMANS 5:3-5 as translated in THE MESSAGE)

I heard that the projects will be voted on and the winner will be announced.  (I am praying that your project wins!)

JOURNALING "JOURNEY"

Here is the "New and IMPROVED" Journal that you made for me!  It is simply gorgeous, and I LOVE the pockets on the side.  They are JUST RIGHT for us to send photos and other things that we want to share with each other.  You did a great job, Anelise!  I'm tickled "pink".  LOL
(Luke 6:38)
You chose the perfect colors.  It even matches the "old and well used" journal that you first picked out.  That journal has seen MANY miles, hasn't it?  I can't wait to use the new one.  (I wonder what adventures we will face in the year(s) that this journal will cover?  Who knows?  (Jeremiah 29:11)

I hung the potholder you made
right over the coffee cup rack.  It looks good there, doesn't it?  You did a really good job on the patchwork design, and I love the colors you chose.  (Of course you know that "blue" is my favorite color.)
(Proverbs 31:13b)

I love you!
